Transformasi Digital Governance dan E-Leadership Kepala Madrasah dalam Meningkatkan Akuntabilitas Mutu Lembaga di Era Inteligensi Buatan

Abstract

Digital transformation demands a fundamental repositioning of educational governance systems and leadership models in order to maintain institutional accountability and effectiveness. This qualitative, literature-based study aims to analyse the conceptual integration between educational governance and digital leadership (e-leadership), and to formulate adaptive strategies for navigating the dynamics of the digital age. The findings indicate that governance functions as a structural framework (hardware) that ensures accountability, transparency and public participation, whilst transformational and distributed leadership act as the driving force (software) that builds a vision, a culture of innovation and a collaborative climate. The synergy between these two elements is crucial to the resilience and sustainability of schools in the era of technological integration. The key characteristics of digital leadership lie in a forward-looking vision, data-driven decision-making, and the upholding of digital citizenship ethics. This study recommends the modernisation of integrated administrative services, the enhancement of educators’ digital capabilities, and the systematic mitigation of data security risks in order to realise a culture of quality in Islamic education that is transparent, responsive and globally competitive.
