Author Guidelines

TRANSCIVILIA: Journal of Multidisciplinary Knowledge and Civilization welcomes original manuscripts from various academic disciplines that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere.

1. Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts:

  • Original research articles.
  • Review articles.
  • Conceptual papers.
  • Case studies.
  • Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies.

2. Language

Manuscripts may be written in:

  • English, or
  • Indonesian.

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should contain:

  • Title
  • Author(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Corresponding author email
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgments (optional)
  • References

4. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstracts should contain 150–250 words.
  • Three to five keywords should be provided.
  • Bilingual abstracts are encouraged.

5. Manuscript Format

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
  • Manuscript length: 5,000–8,000 words.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
  • Line spacing: 1.5.
  • Tables and figures must be clearly numbered and captioned.

6. References and Citation

  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software.
  • The journal applies the latest APA Style.
  • At least 80% of references should come from primary sources.
  • Recent references published within the last ten years are preferred.

7. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo:

  1. Initial editorial screening.
  2. Double-blind peer review.
  3. Revision process if required.
  4. Final editorial decision.

8. Publication Ethics

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original.
  • The work is free from plagiarism.
  • The manuscript is not under review elsewhere.
  • All authors approve the submission.

9. Submission Procedure

Authors must submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system.
