Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran Berbasis Critical Incident Technique Terhadap Kemampuan Sintesis Informasi Pada Materi Sistem Pertahanan Tubuh

This study aims to produce a module based on Critical Incident Technique on the body's defense system material that is feasible and effective to improve students' information synthesis abilities. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study involved 10 students of grade XII for a small-scale trial and 2 classes of students of grade XI at SMA Negeri 2 Bae Kudus. The results of the study show that: (1) the design of the Critical Incident Technique-based module developed consists of a module cover, initial section, introduction, and closing; (2) media validation obtained a percentage of 92% (very feasible), material validation obtained 90% (very feasible), and a small-scale trial by students obtained 77% (feasible); (3) the effectiveness of the module was measured through a student response questionnaire which showed a positive result of 80%; (4) the results of the hypothesis test using the Mann-Whitney Test showed a significance value of 0.033 <0.05, which means that the Critical Incident Technique-based module has a significant effect on improving students' information synthesis abilities.
