Penguatan Karakter Religius melalui Implementasi Program Amalan Yaumiyah dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam: Sebuah Kajian Literatur

Abstract

Religious character education is one of the primary objectives of Islamic education, emphasizing not only the acquisition of religious knowledge but also the formation of students' attitudes and behaviors through the internalization of Islamic values. This literature review aims to analyze the conceptual foundation of the implementation of the Amalan Yaumiyah (Daily Religious Practices) program in strengthening students' religious character within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. The study employs a literature review approach by examining relevant theories, previous research findings, and program evaluation concepts. The discussion focuses on five main aspects: religious character education, Islamic Religious Education learning, the concept of Amalan Yaumiyah in Islamic education, educational program implementation, and the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The findings indicate that strengthening students' religious character is more effective when Islamic Religious Education is integrated with systematic and continuous religious habituation supported by a religious school culture. The review also identifies several research gaps, including the limited studies on the systematic implementation of the Amalan Yaumiyah program, the limited application of the CIPP evaluation model, and the lack of integration between Islamic Religious Education and school culture. Therefore, the CIPP evaluation model is considered an appropriate analytical framework for comprehensively evaluating the implementation of the Amalan Yaumiyah program through the dimensions of context, input, process, and product. This review is expected to provide a theoretical foundation for future research on the implementation of the Amalan Yaumiyah program as a strategy for strengthening students' religious character in Islamic educational institutions.
